The scroll wheel on my Mighty Mouse seems to have stopped working over the weekend. It's amazing how quickly one becomes dependant on interface enhancements that seemed like minor improvements when you first encountered them. Using a mouse wheel to vertically scroll through windows struck me as a nice enough idea when I first started using a Logictech mouse a few years ago. But now that it has stopped working on my Apple mouse, I feel as though I'm sitting at my computer with one arm tied behind my back. It's almost physically painful, reaching over to hit the arrow keys to scroll down a window.

Crazy, mine broke earlier this week and I was also debilitated. Hopefully Apple will make good and I can return to normalcy.

Ever hop on a Mac without Expose enabled? It's all muck and chaos, like evacuating a building flooded with oatmeal and everyone's wearing mittens and snowshoes.

Steve - mine stops working occassionally too, and then randomly starts working again. Holding the mouse up and shaking it a bit, scrolling hard to the side and down, usually gets it working.

Hold it upside down and spin the wheel like crazy in different directions. This seems to shake things out. It's very annoying.

Same problem with my mighty mouse stops working every now and again. Shaking it violently is the only solution to get it working.
